We have started a new ministry called M10 Kid's.
Mark 10:13-16 13 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16 And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. (NIV)
We will not have AWANA's at the church this year. |

On Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, Journey Church Ministries is buzzing with kids who participate in the AWANA Clubs that we offer. In the U.S. AWANA Clubs have been in existence for nearly 60 years, and each week more than one million kids participate in this wonderful program that helps to develop spiritually strong children.

The AWANA Cubbies (3 and potty trained - 4years old)
In order to make learning fun, age-appropriate games, puppets, crafts and awards are used to imprint spiritual lessons on this lively age group.

The AWANA Sparks (Kindergartner to 2nd grade)
In the Sparks group, biblical concepts are taught by way of memory verse drills, crafts, activities, small group interaction and age-appropriate games.
The AWANA T&T (Truth & Training) (3rd-5th grade)
T & T stands for Truth and Training, which is the goal for this AWANA group. In T & T kids hear gospel messages, memorize Scripture, participate in Bible study and play fun and active team-oriented games.
